In New Iberia, you’ll enjoy every season - the blooming flowers of spring, the golden leaves of autumn, the stark white skies of winter and the warm Gulf of Mexico summers.

Louisiana is considered a sub-tropical region with an estimated annual rainfall of 62 inches, and typically we see about 300 days of sunshine with an annual average temperature of 68 degrees.

With one of the mildest winters in the continental United States, Louisiana has an average low in the 40’s, and the highs are in the low to mid 60’s. For example, our average temperature for the month of January is only 52 degrees.

During the summertime, our average highs are in the lower 90’s with lows of 70 degrees. The most pleasant temperature and weather in Louisiana are March though May and October/November.
