Entertainment & Events

There’s never a dull moment in New Iberia, and all year long, you’ll never be bored.

Come see why our Mardi Gras celebration is one of a kind. From May until November, enjoy shopping and making new friends at the local Farmer’s Market. Every Fourth of July, you won’t want to miss the parade and fireworks display. Local entertainment venues also include the Sliman Theater for the Performing Arts and the Cypress Bayou Casino
Iberia Performing Arts League and the Louisiana Crossroads.

If you enjoy a good festival, you’re in for a treat. New Iberia is home to the following festivals:
Sugar Cane Festival, World Championship Gumbo Cook Off, Shadows on the Teche Arts & Crafts Festival, Bunk Johnson Jazz Festival, Yuletide on the Bayou, Festival of Live Oaks Cajun Hot Sauce Festival, The Great Gator Race and Grillin in the Park Championship Bar-B-Que Cook Off. You are only minutes away from the Shrimp Festival in Delcambre and twenty minutes to both Festival Acadiens and Festival International de Louisiane.

It’s year-round excitement in New Iberia, with a dash of local music and dancing thrown in for good measure.
